
substitute chocolate chips semi-sweet in this Recipe?
please look at the Recipe before answering this question because I do not think anything can replace like sugar and cocoa, as it has to harden when cooled. Basically I'm making a cheesecake and I pour over heavy cream and melted semi-sweet chips choc ... but I have the semi-sweet chips. I have black chocolate chips and bittersweet. There should be a problem with any of them. Simply can not be so sweet. I just want to taste the sauce and see if you need to add a little sugar to it. Apart from that it should be fine.
