Many find irresistible chocolate - including me. We crave chocolate, taste, and enjoyed it. There comes a passion for chocolate - or rather the addiction to chocolate.

What is the inherent chemical this passion or addiction? How many of us will become addicted to chocolate?

The reason is simple: chocolate is an addictive drug. Scientists found that naloxone, an opiate antagonist, reduces the chocolate addiction. This is strong evidence that chocolate is addictive, like any other drug. However, chocolate is only a mild version of the drug addiction - just enough to have the effect of the brain that creates the real attraction, compulsive.

In addition to caffeine (though not as much as coffee), chocolate contains other chemicals, such as theobromine, phenylethylamine, which create the effect of Marijuana-like brain. Such a chemical effect of chocolate on the brain is significant and substantial, especially when the lure of chocolate is enhanced by the smell flavor, and texture of chocolate.

But the chocolate industry we like to believe that chocolate is good for our health.

Chocolate is good for you because comes from a fruit tree, which contains antioxidants beneficial for the heart benefits, especially dark chocolate. According to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, chocolate body reduces fat absorption. In addition, chocolate contains flavonoids more potent than vitamin C to reduce bad cholesterol.

But it is chocolate really healthy for you?

The truth of the matter is that if you absolutely love chocolate, you would like to believe anything - especially what you want believe.

Firstly, most scientific studies on chocolate's health are funded by industry - a valid reason to take all positive result with a grain of salt.

The chocolate is made from cocoa beans from a fruit tree. Almost all plants contain antioxidants. If you really love to antioxidants, and then go for fruits and vegetables, not necessarily chocolate. The problem with chocolate is that the grains of coca are so bitter that the loads of fat and sugar are added to taste a good chocolate and sweet. As a result, chocolate is loaded with calories, sixty percent of which come from fat, which contributes to increased cholesterol and gain weight. An ounce of chocolate contains as much as hundred fifty calories with forty to fifty percent of fat. semisweet chocolate baking M & M contains the tune of nearly four hundred calories, ten grams of saturated fat and more than forty grams of sugar! Do you really think these ingredients are healthy you?

In addition, the chocolate, which contains caffeine, not only irritate the kidneys and blood thinner, but also changes their mood.

Chocolate is healthier due to their unhealthy ingredients, which can cause headaches, obesity, heartburn, and emotional problems. If you have eat chocolate from time to time, go to the quality, not economic ones, which are mostly sugar, trans fats, colorings, flavorings and preservatives. Read the label! Beware of additives and added fat! Or simply resist the temptation of chocolate, if you can!

Eat chocolate only because she likes, and not because be healthy!

If the chocolate does not make you any healthier, it makes you happier?

A study of self-confessed addicts found that chocolate chocolate could give them a sense of satisfaction. However, the pleasure was accompanied by a feeling of guilt, which could trigger an eating disorder. Worse, chocolate cravings were not driven by hunger: who binged on chocolate, even when they were full.

If you crave chocolate only occasionally, you need not be overly concerned. However, if you binge on chocolate, which could mean a problem in the future. Chocolate can do much more than simply put on the pounds if addiction intensifies. The addictive effects differ from person to person. Therefore, it is paramount importance that we pay attention to how chocolate affects mood.
