Chocolate cake being my Valentine

This is the cake Recipe from my mother every Valentine's Day. She baked the cake in two pans. A round and a square. Next, turn the square cake to form a diamond, cut the round cake in half and each half attached to each side of the diamond tip with cream vanilla. Then decorate with candy and red frosting to write "Be My Valentine". This is how the name came from. Try this Recipe a wonderful dessert on Valentine's Day.

Be my Valentine's chocolate cake

1 / 2 cup butter

4 squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate

2 eggs

1 3 / 4 cups buttermilk

2 teaspoons vanilla

February 1 / 2 cups sifted flour same increase

2 cups sugar

Dark Chocolate coating

1 / 2 cup butter

4 squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate

Confectioners'sugar 4 cups (about 1 pound)

1 / 2 cup evaporated milk

1 / 4 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons vanilla

Combine butter and chocolate in medium saucepan. Melt simmer, remove from heat. Gradually mix the sugar, milk, salt and Banilla. Beat until smooth.
