The old version of the Balance Gold Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars was great. Now there is a “new” and “improved” version which is sweeter, has more sugar, more carbs and more sodium. How is this an improvement? Plus this new formula tastes horrible. Nothing like chocolate or peanut butter. Why did Balance have to go and ruin a good thing? Bring back the old version!

These are just awful. The taste is bad and they arrived half melted (thanks Amazon). Just avoid these – go for the Balance Bare bars…

I like some of the other Balance Gold bars, specifically the triple chocolate is good, as well as the peanut butter. Peanut cluster is also decent. However, avoid the Chocolate Mint Cookie. It tastes like muddy, minty sawdust.

If you could get a sugar free Snickers Bar_that’s what this tastes like. I keep them refrigerated and eat them chilled. If you have them delivered when it’s hot outside-they do melt to the packaging-so be aware of hot weather when ordering. Also–only a good deal if the S/H is free_otherwise too expensive. But with the free S/H–it’s a good deal.

I love these bars and use them as meal replacements (with a piece of fruit) when I’m busy. However, I ordered these in July and they melted in shipping, so the chocolate coating is stuck to the wrapper and the bar doesn’t taste as good as it should.

Yummy treat, just be careful ordering in warm weather…
